Yearbooks Recalled Over Child Pornography Worry

Hundreds of yearbooks have been recalled from a California high school because of worries that one picture contained within the book could be considered child pornography. The Press Enterprise says the offending image is of a 17-year-old boy with his hand up the skirt of his 15-year-old girlfriend. The picture is part of a collage featuring a potpourri of images from a school dance; officials say it’s unclear whether it depicts “sexual penetration.” Students who don’t turn over their copies could face charges for possessing child pornography. Local police have also questioned the boy as they try and determine whether to press charges against him.
