Winter Weather Prayer

One of the best winter weather photos I saw this morning was on the front page of the San Jose Mercury News. It’s of a snow-covered church billboard in upstate New York—but you can still read the message. It says: “Whoever is praying for snow—please stop.” In a bout of schadenfreude, the Mercury News added its own caption: “Aren’t you glad you live in California?”
The Virginian-Pilot went a similar route, captioning this photo from Missouri, “Admit it, You’re glad it’s not us”:
Speaking of Missouri, here’s another crazy weather photo from the front page of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. I’m guessing the roads are still a bit slippery in St. Louis after this salt truck bit it:
