Suspect Arrested in Times Square Bombing

A suspect has been arrested in the Times Square car bombing incident. A naturalized US citizen, of Pakistani descent, was stopped early this morning as he tried to board a flight to Dubai from JFK says the New York Times.  Faisal Shahzad was identified by authorities as the man who bought the 2003 Pathfinder, which was found filled with explosives this weekend, after they found an email in his account about the sale reports the New York Post

Shahzad, who resides in Connecticut, had recently returned from a five-month visit to Pakistan, where is wife lives.  The New York Daily News says he is believed to have links to international terrorist organizations.
