“Sad-Looking” Coyote Rescued From Chicago Stn.

“Like Wile E. Coyote after a rough day with the Road Runner.” That’s how a Chicago police sergeant described the “sad-looking coyote” found in one of the city’s train stations. The Sun-Times says the animal was trapped in an area where commuters emerge from the turnstiles with a hangdog expression on her face. Rescue workers named her Ellie before successfully coaxing her out of the way. Said the sergeant: “[The coyote] looked really sheepish and really sad. It just sat there.’’ No one has figure out how the wild animal made its way into the train station.

The local ABC station has some more photos of Ellie, the sad coyote
