New Record Set During Boston Marathon

A new record was set during yesterday’s Boston Marathon. Robert “The Younger’’ Cheruiyot crossed the finish line after 2 hours, 5 minutes and 52 seconds of running. According to the Boston Globe, that’s a minute and 22 seconds faster than anyone else has ever run the race. Cheruiyot is no relation to Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot who has won the Boston Marathon four times in the past.
