Multi-Generational Homes on Rise in US


Multi-generational houses are on the rise in America reports the Boston Globe this morning. Almost 16 percent of the population lives with several generations under one roof. That’s up from 12 percent in 2004. The economy is one reason. But for many, less privacy is a small price to pay for things like built-in childcare and being close to elderly parents as they age.
