Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the Denver Post has some tips for those who’ve been known to drink a little too much, but don’t consider themselves alcoholics. A new school of thought says there’s a difference between alcohol abusers and alcohol addicts. And for some, AA’s strict program acts as a deterrent for those who would like to seek help for their drinking. In the words of one doctor, “Drinking problems are not like pregnancy ? either you’re pregnant, or you’re not ? but instead they are more like hypertension, something that can be managed.”
