As the Chicago Tribune puts it, “Holy Chlorination, Batman!” An Illinois couple has become an Internet sensation after their Batman-themed swimming pool made an appearance on Google Maps. The couple says they painted the logo more than 20 years ago, to appease their young son who was obsessed with all things Gotham. A painter used the image found on a beach towel to recreate the logo. The couple, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, say they are a little freaked out by all the attention.
