Will Smith’s Mega Movie Trailer Angers Neighborhood

There are movie trailers. And then there are Will Smith’s movie trailers. Residents of SoHo are up in arms over the “gargantuan, double-decker moveable mansion” Smith has parked on the street while he films “Men in Black III.” The New York Post says with marble floors throughout, the trailer is bigger than most two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments in Manhattan.
Other amenities of the 53-foot-long, 30-ton vehicle include a movie room with a 100-inch screen, offices for his staff, and a large bedroom with a granite bathroom. It even has its own nickname—the Heat. Weekly rent? $9000. In addition to his moveable mansion, the Post says Smith is renting an apartment nearby, a 6.5-bedroom apartment for $25,000 a month.
