Sometimes it pays to hold on to things. The Who hasn’t played a show in Providence, Rhode Island since 1975. There was a show scheduled in 1979, but the mayor canceled it due to security concerns. Fans with enough foresight to hold on to those tickets are in luck, because the band just announced they would accept tickets from the canceled 1979 show when they come to town next year, as part of their North American tour.
