“Vonntourage”
Written by Pat's Papers | Friday, 12 February 2010 8:52 AM

If she ends up winning some medals, she’ll have her “Vonntourage” to thank. USA Today looks at the support system backing US skier Lindsey Vonn as she fights back from a shin injury. The group of supporters is one of the reasons Vonn was able to get back on the slopes Thursday and “the latest example of the kind of special attention Vonn has received that has taken her from being very good to being the best in the world.”
On her Facebook page, Vonn said her “sharp debilitating pain” has gone down to “something that I feel I may be able to grit my teeth through.”
