VIDEO: Meteor Lights Up Bay Area

Some beautiful photos on the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle this morning after a meteor streaked across the Bay Area sky on Wednesday night. The car-sized meteor put on a “spectacular light show” as it entered the Earth’s atmosphere around 7:45 p.m.; onlookers described a “giant fireball” lighting up the sky. Astronomers say the hunt is now on for debris from the meteor. VIDEO
