TSA Theft Sting

Sen. Chuck Schumer wants to use a sting operation to wipe out theft by TSA employees reports the New York Post this morning. Schumer says it’s a rampant problem—381 agents have been fired since 2003 for swiping electronics out of baggage—and proposes hiring “absent-minded travelers who would fail to notice that their pricey toys had vanished after security checks.” Those toys would have GPS chips, which could be traced.
