“Truck Driver For Governor” Campaign Slogan to Beat in Alaska

Turns out not just soccer moms can run for governor of Alaska. In the wake of Sarah Palin’s early exit from office, competition for the Governor’s Mansion is heating up says the Anchorage Daily News. The latest man to put his hat in the ring is a 68-year-old singing truck driver named “Singin’ Sam” Little. Singin’ Sam is touring the state in a trailer he bought from a Nashville gospel choir trying to shore up support for his bid by singing songs from his CD, “Truck Driver for Governor.”
