Too Sick For the Gym?


How sick do you have to be to justifiably skip the gym? The Wall Street Journal says it depends on your symptoms. If you have the hallmarks of a traditional cold—runny nose, itchy throat—exercising can be just what the doctor ordered. But if you are feeling a flu coming on, skipping the gym is probably your best option. If you do decide to exercise while under the weather, experts say you should lower your expectations.
