The End of Glenn Beck and Fox?

The Glenn Beck juggernaut is losing steam. David Carr of the New York Times says the Fox host has lost a third of his audience—one million viewers—since last August when he staged his “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington. His numbers are still big—two million a night—but Carr says the decline, especially among younger viewers, has Fox executives “contemplating life without Mr. Beck.” Even if the two (Carr describes their relationship as one that “seemed made in pre-Apocalyptic heaven”) did split ways, Insiders say Beck would have no problem standing on his own: his multi-media company boasted about $30 million in revenue last year.
