Superman Quits Journalism

Even Clark Kent thinks journalism has seen better days. The Chicago Tribune says Superman quit his job at the Daily Planet in the latest issue of the comic series which hit shelves yesterday. He actually walks out, mild-mannered though he is, decrying the state of journalism as he goes. Apparently, his anger is directed at both Lois Lane for covering a sex scandal and at his boss Perry White for “pandering to the public demand for entertainment instead of providing news.”
