Stock Picking Guru Bill Miller Leaves Mutual Fund


Jason Zweig writes a column in the Wall Street Journal this morning on the decline of Bill Miller. He’s leaving his mutual fund. Zweig calls Miller “the ultimate iconoclast,” and the ultimate “star stock picker.” He bought Amazon.com during the Internet bubble and picked up Google during its IPO. But his 15-year record of outperforming the market came crashing to an end in 2006.
