Spider Man Reboot to Minimize CGI

There’s a great New York Daily News entertainment piece about how Spiderman’s stunt team insisted that CGI be minimized in the franchise’s latest installment. They really did build a rig to have stunt doubles swinging hundreds of feet over NYC because the film’s stunt coordinator says “a number of often imperceptible things in CGI signal to the human eye immediately that something isn’t real. In Spidey’s case, it was swinging through the air properly.”
