Space Travel Bad for Reproductive System

You might want to rethink a honeymoon to Mars says the Kansas City Star.  Researchers at the University of Kansas say space travel does “serious harm to the male and female reproductive systems.” The scientists say they are frustrated that their findings come just as NASA’s shuttle program is winding down but say they have some ideas on possible therapies. Some studies have shown that exercise can help ease the muscle atrophy astronauts experience when they come back to Earth. Researchers say perhaps that theory could be…modified to address the reproductive systems.
