Review: Facebook’s Places Better Grip on Privacy

Now you can not only share how you’re feeling with your Facebook friends, you can also share where you are feeling those feelings. Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal reviews the site’s new Places feature, which allows users to share their location with friends. He says the program is superior to others like it because of stronger privacy protections. The default setting allows only your friends to view your location and minors are always excluded from seeing anyone but their friends.
