Regis Weighs In On Live! with Pat and Kelly

There’s a Macy’s Fireworks preview in the New York Daily News this morning. On page 2, the paper asks host Regis Philbin if he thinks I should replace him on Live. First he compliments my newspaper-holding abilities, and then he gives this answer: “I have seen him once or twice pinch-hitting for me. I think he’s a good broadcaster and one of the gang that they should choose from.”
