‘Rahm Emanuel Likes Nickelback’

Now that the teacher’s strike is over, the Chicago Tribune hunts down Mike Konkoleski, whose picket signs were by far the best of the eight-day strike. Every day Konkoleski carried a new sign that decreed “Rahm Emanuel Likes (fill in the embarrassing musician.)” First day it was Nickelback, second day was Creed. The first-year math teach says he planned to do ABBA, but some of his colleagues were fans. If the strike had lasted any longer he had a “Rahm Emanuel Likes 98 Degrees” sign ready to go.
