Police Shoot Decorative Gator

Watch out garden gnomes, you may be next. Police responding to a call about a renegade alligator didn’t waste any time getting the situation under control. The Kansas City Star says officers hunkered down and started firing shots into the yard of a suburban home. It wasn’t until the second bullet ricocheted off their target did they realized that they were shooting at a concrete lawn ornament. The land owner told cops that he’d placed the gator on his property to scare away children.
