Obama Launches 2012 Campaign

It’s official. The Chicago Sun-Times says President Obama sent an early morning email to his supporters today, kicking off his bid for re-election. The 2012 campaign started the way the president’s previous one did, with a launch video, except this time around the president was absent from the 130-second spot. The 2012 logo, too, is a bit different: “The logo on the Obama 2012 website uses the famous 2008 O logo—the one with the strips and semi-circle with the O in 2012 this time around—not Obama.”
