“Nitpickers” Find Movie Mistakes

“They nitpick the nitpickers.” The Wall Street Journal has a great article about the people who provide tips to the website, Movie Mistakes. Catching inconsistencies on a movie set is an actual job, done by someone called the script supervisor. But the rise of Internet “has stirred up a nest of similarly obsessed volunteers.” One woman profiled by the Journal has found 3,695 mistakes in 181 movies.
