Naked Pictures End Up on Web After Call to Dell Tech Support

If you thought being put on interminable hold was the worst thing that could happen when calling tech support, think again. The Reno Gazette-Journal has the bizarre tale of a woman who says she called a Mumbai-based Dell support center to get help locating some erotic pictures on her hard drive. Next thing she knew, the pictures were up on an adult website. The woman says the man who had initially helped her then offered to help remove the pictures—but only after she sent him a Dell laptop so he could continue sleuthing from home. From there the story devolves into one involving credit-card scams and spurned advances, but it might force you to reevaluate your answer to the question: “May I help you?”
