Murdoch Pushes Journal to the Right

There’s an interesting article in the New York Times this morning marking the second anniversary of Rupurt Murdoch’s takeover of the Wall Street Journal. The change in ownership has been characterized by a wider scope of coverage, including a concentration on Washington politics. And David Carr of the Times notes that many of the stories emanating from the Journal’s Washington bureau have conservative headlines attached. Carr says two of the paper’s top editors are responsible for “headlining articles to reflect a chronic skepticism of the current administration.”
