Moonshine Comes to NY Farmers Markets

Tomatoes, green beans, corn, a bottle of moonshine. New Yorkers, this could be your farmers market list, says the Daily News. Yesterday Gov. Cuomo OKed the sale of homemade hooch at farmers markets and fairs around the state. The “mom-and-pop moonshiners” proliferated after a change to state law back in 2010, which created licenses for “farm distilleries.”
