Missing Finger Found Inside Trout

“Let me guess, they found my fingers in a fish.” That was the first thing Haans Galassi said to police when the called him several weeks after a wakeboard accident, which cost him several fingers. Galassi was right. The Spokane Spokesman-Review says a fisherman reported one of the missing digits after finding it inside a lake trout he caught. Police were able to get a fingerprint from the partially digested finger, and match the print to Galassi’s credit card number.
