Today’s equation: Nicholas Sparks + Miley Cyrus = Guaranteed Commercial Success. USA Today says the pop star’s latest movie is based on a book by Sparks. The best-selling author of “The Notebook” talks about why his books are love stories, not romance novels, and discusses his favorite books with Cyrus.
