Message in a Bathroom

It was on a bathtub rather than inside a bottle but that didn’t make the hidden message any less meaningful. The Philadelphia Inquirer says while trying to fix a leaky pipe at a local church, a Pennsylvania man discovered a message scrawled in pencil by the two men who had installed the tub decades ago. It read: “This work kept two men from starving during the Depression.” The man says the church has a history of employing the needy and went back through 70 years of census data to track down the plumber’s identity.
