Mandela Interpreter Claims Schizophrenic Episode

The South African sign language interpreter said to be a fake for signing nonsense at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service now says he suffered a schizophrenic episode at the event. Thamsanqa Jantjie told Johannesburg’s STAR newspaper that he started hearing voices and hallucinating. He doesn’t know whether it was the happiness of the day or the magnitude of what he was doing that may have triggered the episode.
