Man-Hunting the New Fox-Hunting in English Countryside


Banned by law from hunting foxes, English countrymen have taken to hunting something else says the Washington Post—people. Yes, you read that correctly. The “human quarry” are given a 30-minute head start and hunters use bloodhounds who are trained to sniff out humans, instead of the traditional foxhounds. But don’t worry, participants say “there’s more slobber than blood” at the end of the hunt, as the runners scatter food for their hunters on the ground.
