“Made in Detroit” Shirts Not Made in Detroit

Kid Rock’s “Made in Detroit’ clothing line is selling well. But there’s a slight problem says Free-Press columnist Susan Tompor: the high-end merchandise isn’t made in Detroit. Some shirts have labels that list their country of manufacture as the Dominican Republic, others say China. But many of the shirts Tompor comes across are without labels, which leads her to expect the worst—that they’re made in Ohio.
