Liz Taylor Late to Own Funeral

Always fashionable, Elizabeth Taylor was late to her own funeral. But it was no mistake, says the New York Post—she’d requested in her will that she wished to arrived 15 minutes after the funeral’s publicized start time. Taylor left behind a fortune that is estimated near $600 million, much of which is expected to go to her AIDS charity. She was buried near her close friend Michael Jackson at Forest Lawn cemetery, just outside of Los Angeles. Taylor converted to Judaism after her fourth marriage, to Eddie Fisher, in 1959; following Jewish traditions, she was buried as soon as possible after her death.
