Invasive Species: 7 Ft Alligator Found in Woman’s Bathroom

Written by Pat's Papers | Monday, 25 April 2011 9:17 AM

What’s the last thing you’d like to see making itself at home in your bathroom? A seven-foot alligator, perhaps? That’s exactly what a Florida woman discovered when she returned home this weekend. The Tampa Tribune says the gator made his entrance through a doggie door and spent several hours wreaking havoc before being discovered. The woman says the house had been ransacked by her reptile intruder (“My furniture was all moved around; my blinds were all discombobulated.”) but she was lucky to find her prize possessions—two cats—shaken up but unharmed.

The local news channel, Channel 13 News, has a great slideshow showing how local law enforcement got gator out.
