Individual Coffee Comes at a Cost

The single-serving coffee revolution is an expensive one. The New York Times calculates the price per pound of those “single serve” coffee machines, and it’s close to $60. That’s almost three times as much as a pound of Starbucks’ Dark Espresso Roast, which goes for $12.95.
