Hotels Don’t Make Much Money on Phones or Movies

Apparently, people are travelling with their own porn on their iPads and laptops. And almost everyone who travels these days has a mobile phone. The Los Angeles Times reports on the decline of revenue hotels are seeing because of technology. Specifically, per-call phone charges have plunged, and people are buying fewer in-room movies because they have their own. Average per-room phone revenue has dropped 86% over the last 10 years.
