Happiness, Sadness Same as Infectious Diseases

Turns out, happiness is infectious. So, say scientists, is sadness. Both emotions act like diseases, which means you can catch them from the people around you reports the LA Times. The good news is that people tend to “recover” from sadness more quickly than they do from happiness. The down side? Sadness is easier to catch.
