Google Maps Pinpoints Drug Ring


“Gotcha” is the front-page headline in the New York Post this morning after police busted a Brooklyn heroin ring using an unusual tool—Google Maps.  Three of the seven men arrested recently showed up on a Google Maps photo plying their trade outside a corner bodega that police had been targeting for months.

I thought people wised up to the power of Google Street View after pictures of that guy picking his nose at a San Francisco bus stop made their rounds back in 2007. Guess not. Here‘s a list of 10 items of advice for Google Maps users.
