France Bans Homework…Really

Kids, you might want to think about moving to France. In addition to a four-day school week and two-hour lunch breaks, the country’s new president has added another perk to growing up in France: no homework. Yep. The Daily Mail says the move has two motives—to balance the playing field for those who come from disadvantaged households and don’t get the help their classmates do, and to help kids avoid “classroom burnout.”
