First Lady: Obama Quit Smoking

President Obama has quit smoking, or at least that’s what the First Lady says. Michelle Obama told reporters that the president hasn’t had a cigarette in more than a year, despite some stressful months on the job. USA Today says it was his daughters that provided the final push: “[The president] wants to be able to ‘look them in the face’ and say he doesn’t smoke.” She revealed the tidbit in a sit-down lunch with reporters, where topics ranged from her stance on gay marriage (“I’m not getting into that”) to how she chooses her outfits.
