FBI Investigates Flea Market Renoir

Two years ago, a woman in West Virginia bought a Renoir for $7 at a flea market. After months of trying to figure out where the painting came from, an auction was planned for this week; the painting was supposed to sold for around $100,000. But then an intrepid Washington Post reporter searched through the files at the Baltimore Museum of Art and discovered the painting had actually been stolen, even after the museum had initially said it was not. Now the auction is on hold while the FBI investigate.
