Favreau Wins Over Comic Fans with ‘Iron Man 2’
Written by Pat's Papers | Friday, 7 May 2010 7:56 AM

Move over Superman, there’s a new hero in town. Jon Favreau, who is probably best known for his role in “Swingers,” directed the latest installment of the “Iron Man” series. So far, the film has received good reviews but USA Today says the director has something much more important than four stars - street cred with the comic book crowd. Says the paper: “With the original Iron Man, Favreau joined the ranks of directors like Chris Nolan and Sam Raimi— people who have the trust of the comic-book audience because (the directors) know the source material.”
