ESPN Tony Kornheiser got some unexpected time off from work yesterday. The network suspended the host of “Pardon the Interruption” for comments he made about colleague Hannah Storm’s outfit reports the New York Daily News.  It seemed to be Storm’s red go-go boots that prompted Kornheiser to call her out for wearing “a horrifying, horrifying outfit.”

The New York Post doesn’t hide how it feels about the situation, writing that the network should change its motto to “The Worldwide Leader in Jerks.”

Both the Daily News and the Post quote Kornheiser’s full commentary: “She’s got on red go-go boots and a Catholic-school plaid skirt. Way too short for somebody in her 40s - or maybe early 50s by now. She’s got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body.” Kornheiser apologized on air to Storm yesterday.
