Erykah Badu Stirs Up Controversy with JFK Video
Written by Pat's Papers | Tuesday, 30 March 2010 9:33 AM

Erykah Badu is naked in the video for her new song “Window Seat.” But that’s not why people are talking. The Dallas Morning News says many people have been upset by Badu’s decision to film the video on Dealey Plaza, the grassy knoll where President Kennedy was assassinated. Badu, who feigns being shot in the video, says she wanted to “compare the assassination to the character assassination one would go through after showing his or her self completely.” Dallas police say Badu filmed the video without proper permits and technically could be arrested for indecent exposure but in all likelihood will not. The paper notes the controversy was well time to correspond with the release of Badu’s new album.
