“Equal Access to Sunshine’’
Written by Pat's Papers | Friday, 15 October 2010 11:36 AM

I imagine this woman can count on the unequivocal support of men everywhere. In a bid to give women “equal access to sunshine,’’ the Boston Globe says a Massachusetts woman has collected enough signatures to put an odd item on the November ballot: whether or not the law should be changed to allow women to go topless in public. Citing a desire to “go for a swim and feel the sun on my chest,” the 39-year-old woman says it’s an issue of equality.
This isn’t just an issue in Massachusetts. Remember the story from this summer about the transgendered men who angered a whole Delaware community by going topless on a local beach?
