DOT Asks Kids to Nag Bad Parent Drivers

What’s the key to curbing bad driving? The NYC Department of Transportation thinks the answer lies with backseat drivers. The Staten Island Advance says kids are being asked to nag their parents into obeying traffic laws. Calling them “traffic ambassadors,” the pilot program is focusing of fourth graders. The students went through a four-day course about “math, physics and community interconnectedness.”
