Puggles. Peagles. Goldendoodles. Call them anything except mutts says the Wall Street Journal. Cross-breeding is the latest craze in dog circles, says the paper, popular among owners who want to combine the best traits of multiple dogs into one. While it’s basically anything goes, breeders say there are unspoken rules about what not to breed like, for instance, a Great Dane and a Chihuahua.
